I specialize in treating eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. Another unique population I enjoy working with is parents who have had a child in the NICU or PICU, or whose children have complex medical issues. I also work with a range of other issues including depression, anxiety, stress management and relationship problems.
Have you noticed that your relationship with food is not quite like other people’s? Do body image thoughts influence your mood or actions? I can help you recreate a positive relationship with not only food, but with yourself and others as well.
Change does not come without courage. Just searching for a therapist is a huge step. I am here to guide you and support you through your journey. Together we will conquer the unique challenges that are in between you and your best self.
My Professional Background
My skills derive from my experience working in an urban outpatient clinic treating all kinds of mental health issues, an Eating Disorders clinic, treating people at the intensive outpatient level, as well as Private Practice at the outpatient level. The majority of the population I have served is the eating disordered population, but have worked with a wide variety of other mental health issues as well.
