I know that going to therapy can be frightening and overwhelming, especially for the first time. My hope as a therapist is to provide a comfortable, nonjudgmental space to discuss what is most meaningful to you. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and it is important that we collaborate on the most personalized way to help you achieve your goals. My approach is integrative, client centered and strengths based.
My Professional Background
I have several years of experience working with adults in the health care setting, providing counseling to individuals and families who are facing chronic or sudden illness. I strive to be a calm and supportive presence while helping those who are managing stress, high anxiety, and trauma. I have experience in navigating anticipatory grief, loss and bereavement. I enjoy participating in training and educational opportunities, as I believe continuing education is vital in order to provide the best possible care.
