I view therapy as a collaborative process where I encourage clients to explore feelings and behaviors in a supportive, non judgmental and compassionate way. I come from a person centered, solution- focused, and strength based perspective. I use a variety of therapy modalities including, CBT, DBT and SFBT.
My Professional Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Keuka College . I had experience working at a non for profit agency treating victims of crime as well as assisting with the LGBTQ+ programs. For the past 5 years, I have been working at a community mental health agency treating individuals and families struggling with a variety of personal issues such as addiction, depression/stress, anxiety, anger, family problems, trauma/abuse, separation/divorce, relationships/parenting and more.
