I am a true believer that “My response is my responsibility”. In seeking out assistance via mental health services, you have taken the first steps in reclaiming control of your life. We cannot control life’s “growing pains” however the way we respond to these challenges steer the course of your future. The therapeutic relationship formed will provide objective feedback to assist with transitions, healing and exploration of internal/external paradigms that have shaped your way of thinking. The therapeutic approach will be detailed to your specific needs as I meet you ‘where you are ‘on your journey. I am versed in multiple therapies to address individualized treatment requirements. I look forward to taking this journey with you.
My Professional Background
My experience with mental health began before completing my masters in 2014. My greatest enthusiasm has been servitude. I have a history of providing behavioral health services to youth in residential treatment for over 10 years; serviced adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities for 8 years as a Residential Coordinator with 5 years specifically in Palliative care. I have spent the last several years as a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist in a clinical setting and currently in a private practice. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals ages 4 to 65+ providing support, empathy, encouragement and guidance through their mental, physical emotional journeys. I have also worked within different modalities (Individual, family, couple, group) including a Women’s empowerment /Trauma Group that meets weekly.
