Therapist | LPC

I believe therapy is an ongoing conversation between the client and the therapist where the client sets the topic and the pace. It is, also, like a person learning to dance where a person is learning to move (emotions and thoughts) in ways that they knew possible and it a beautiful process of learning and being gentle and kind to yourself as you may fall as you learn to twirl. I believe the individual clients is an an expert on themselves and and their life experiences and I am an expert on mental wellness. We come together to help, you the client, understand your narrative, derive meaning, and gain control to write new chapters and change the the direction of your story.

I am very flexible and eclectic in my approach. This simply means that I am going to pull from a variety of approaches to best meet your needs and your goals, so that you can gain the wholeness you desire. If you need a less direct approach and someone to simply sit with you I can do that. If you need someone to challenge you and to push you, I can do that. At all time, the client is in charge, and driving the process.
