I have a broad range of therapeutic experience. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, grief, gender and adoption. As a therapist, my work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In other words, we partner together to examine feelings, thoughts, and behaviors and how they affect each other. We will do this as a team initially, with the goal that you’ll develop the skills to examine these three things independently, thus leading to symptom/concern resolution.
My Professional Background
Professionally I have worked in both private practice and school settings. I am comfortable with all age groups, as I have experience with ages 3 – 65 for over 20 years. I enjoy the personal relationship that a therapist and client have, but also have witnessed great results when significant others are included. With that being said, the group setting gives its own particular positive results and supports relationship building.
