I am very passionate about working in the mental health field and help my clients discover their passions, inspirations, and purpose in life through a very compassionate, human centered, and mindfulness based approach.
I think that taking the first step to begin the therapeutic journey takes so much courage and I love to support my clients through this process. I believe that we all have gifts and strengths that can be cultivated through the therapeutic process and through a client-centered approach. I feel that safety, trust, unconditional positive regard, and non-judgment are core components of the therapeutic relationship with my clients. I strive to meet my clients “where they are at” in their life journey and provide guidance to navigate through life’s challenges, successes, and create goals collaboratively to achieve in therapy. I also utilize the modalities of DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy to support my clients gain tools for emotional regulation, improved self-esteem, develop assertive communication and healthy boundaries within relationships, and connect to the essence of who they are as individuals.
