Many turn to family and friends when facing life’s challenges; however, this can be uncomfortable or inconvenient and might not enable you to promote real change in your life. Therapy offers an opportunity for you to become empowered to share and to face the challenges you might be facing. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively identify and access your strengths and resources to help you reach your future goals and increase your quality of life. We will build awareness of any maladaptive behaviors or beliefs you might have, reframe those beliefs, and construct new, adaptive ones.

My Professional Background

I have experience working in higher education settings with students, as well as in a community-based agencies with adults of low socioeconomic status experiencing complex mental health and substance use disorder-related issues.

I am a mother of two who also identifies as a daughter, wife, friend, therapist, and lover of hiking and movies. I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
