My counseling style always begins with building rapport in order to create a safe space for any individual to feel comfortable during their most vulnerable moments. I believe in being non-judgemental, respectful and warm in my approach to working with individuals. I incorporate a variety of evidenced based practices to foster an open therapeutic relationship for you to express your thoughts, feelings, and challenges you may be experiencing. I am a compassionate and empathetic social worker who will use a strengths based approach to help you discover your strengths and process through life’s many challenges.

My therapeutic techniques combine the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness and Client-Centered. It would be an honor to work with you and I look forward to meeting you.

My Professional Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. I have been working as a clinical social worker for 4 years in the education setting. I have experience providing services for children, youth, and adolescents of all different backgrounds. Through my work as a school social worker I have also helped provide resources and workshops to adults and parents. I have had the privilege of working with individuals who come from various racial/ethnic backgrounds and different social and economic backgrounds as well.

Fun Facts

Some hobbies of mine are listening to true crime podcasts, going camping, going on roadtrips to different national parks and just hanging out by the pool reading a good book.
