I believe therapy can provide a safe, nurturing environment to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As a therapist, my goal is to help you understand the underlying causes of negative symptoms and help you alleviate or better manage them to improve your overall well-being. I strive to be authentic and provide that “human connection” in the therapeutic relationship.
My Professional Background
In 2008, I started volunteering (and later working) at Resurrection House, a drop-in center for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. It was a humbling and rewarding experience that led me into the field of Social Work. I went on to earn my Master of Social Work degree and later my Doctor of Social Work degree. I have worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric stabilization, homeless prevention, and integrated healthcare. These experiences have allowed me to develop an eclectic skill-set with a person-centered approach. I love being a social worker and having the privilege of helping others heal and grow.
