My approach to therapy is to provide a supportive environment in which I can work collaboratively with a client on their goals. I believe in a person-centered approach and will work with a client side by side on their growth, providing guidance & being mindful of their unique experiences & interests in life. My goal in therapy is to provide a client with skills that they will need to cultivate resiliency & thrive. Helping them to find a balance with symptoms & increasing inner strength, self-worth & gratitude as they move positively towards their established treatment goals.
My Professional Background
I have worked with clients in the field of mental health for 5 years. I have seen them in their homes and in their communities working to pull all their support systems into place so that they feel stable as they move towards independence. My work as been part of an interdisciplinary team helping individuals coming home from the hospital reintegrate back into the community by providing therapy & case management to the individual as well as their families to promote long-term stability. I have worked with a diversity of diagnosis with a wide range of symptoms, ages 18 years & older.
