Since I was young, I have felt great compassion for people experiencing pain and hardship. I believe that building a supportive and trusting relationship through therapy creates a safe place to explore one’s struggles and discover a path to a healthy state of being.
My joy comes from working alongside people to help them through challenges to achieve their goals with lasting impact.
My Professional Background
I have over 11 years of experience as a social worker, often working with children, youth, and families. I have worked with families at a transitional homeless shelter and have many years of experience supporting foster youth and foster/adoptive families doing clinical case management.
After many years working for non-profit organizations and with people impacted by trauma, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to focus more on supporting clients’ mental health. I have a very strong trauma-informed lens. Much of my clinical experience has been with people suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues.
