I specialize in helping people with a broad array of symptoms including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and many other topics that cause distress or difficulty. My approach includes Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Family Systems, and various other tools and techniques to help individuals obtain their goals. My style is person centered, empathetic, motivational, and solution focused.
My Professional Background
I have worked with people from all different walks of life and backgrounds. This includes starting as a Case Manager helping people solve problems at home, in the community. Eventually transitioned into providing mental health counseling for over 15 years in a hospital, community clinic, nonprofit agency, and private practice settings, serving people in need, ranging in age from 5 though 95. I enjoy also supporting other professionals in the field by providing clinical supervision and educational opportunities.
