I prioritize building and maintaining a rapport with my clients, so they feel confident that this is a safe space. My clients are the experts on their lives, and I work with a person-centered and strength-based lens to help my clients experience meaningful gains in therapy. I bring a trauma-focused care approach to my practice and an informed cross-cultural understanding of complex family structures & diverse communities.
My Professional Background
For the past few years I have dedicated my energy into working in acute settings with people who have suffered from complex traumas. I have experience working in psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, private practices, non- profits in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods and intensive outpatients programs. I have helped many clients process their trauma so they can redefine their lives free from labels, depression, and low self-esteem. Together we will process the trauma from a holistic point of view because I believe change happens by healing your mind, body, and spirit as one.
