As a therapist I believe therapeutic progress happens in a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental environment. I work hard to maintain a respectful environment and to create a space where you can feel comfortable sorting through what is bringing you discomfort. I believe insight and awareness are powerful tools for understanding ourselves better. Through my sessions I tend to provide a lot of psychoeducation as an added step to that understanding.
My Professional Background
I have several years of experience working with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and PTSD (with a focus on domestic violence, and complex PTSD resulting from long term abusive relationships). My approach is trauma informed. I have worked with clients of various backgrounds and welcome LGBTQIA+ as well as BIPOC.

Fun Facts
One of the main roles in my life is mom to my son and daughter (and two cats). I have always been a lover of art and try to make plenty of time to create. I became an avid soap maker during covid and found it a great outlet for helping to manage during such a high stress time. I have learned that hands on projects and movement can be a great healer. Gardening, cooking, dancing and lots of belly laughs are all things I try to include into my life as much as possible.
