My Favorite Quote

“Though fairy tales end after ten pages, our lives do not. We are multi-volume sets. In our lives, even though one episode amounts to a crash and burn, there is always another episode awaiting us and then another. There are always more opportunities to get it right, to fashion our lives in the ways we deserve to have them. Don’t waste your time hating a failure. Failure is a greater teacher than success.” - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Therapist | LMHC

As a therapist I believe therapeutic progress happens in a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental environment. I work hard to maintain a respectful environment and to create a space where you can feel comfortable sorting through what is bringing you discomfort. I believe insight and awareness are powerful tools for understanding ourselves better. Through my sessions I tend to provide a lot of psychoeducation as an added step to that understanding.

My Professional Background

I have several years of experience working with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and PTSD (with a focus on domestic violence, and complex PTSD resulting from long term abusive relationships). My approach is trauma informed. I have worked with clients of various backgrounds and welcome LGBTQIA+ as well as BIPOC.

Education, Training, and Certifications

  • Associates- Tompkins Cortland Community College
  • Bachelors of Arts- Empire State University
  • Masters LMHC- Bradly University

Fun Facts

One of the main roles in my life is mom to my son and daughter (and two cats). I have always been a lover of art and try to make plenty of time to create. I became an avid soap maker during covid and found it a great outlet for helping to manage during such a high stress time. I have learned that hands on projects and movement can be a great healer. Gardening, cooking, dancing and lots of belly laughs are all things I try to include into my life as much as possible.
