I believe that therapy should be a healthy and restorative process where you feel safe and understood. I know that making the choice to go to therapy can feel scary at times, and that’s okay. I value an engaging and authentic relationship, where we work together collaboratively to achieve your goals and help you become the best version of yourself. We are all uniquely shaped by the environment around us, therefore, therapy should also be tailored to your unique goals, values and needs.
I utilize client-centered and strength-based approaches with my clients along with DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, family systems and Solution Focused techniques. Let’s look at what you want, what you need, and how we can work together to help you move toward a more fulfilling life. I look forward to working with you!
My Professional Background
I have a background working with children, kids, and teens (ages 5-17) who struggle with academic success, autism, substance use, anxiety, depression, transitions, ADHD/Oppositional behaviors, family issues and emotional hardships.
I have also worked as a program coordinator for a Short Term Acute Residential Treatment Center (START) for adults who have experienced mental health crises, substance use, homelessness, personality disorders, psychosis, and suicidal ideation.
