Therapy is a journey. As a counselor, it is not my job to walk behind you or in front of you, but rather beside you to help navigate any current issues or stressors you are facing. Our relationship will be a collaborative one where you express your intended goals and I aid in helping you to achieve them.
My Professional Background
I have close to 20 years of experience in dealing with persons affected by trauma including, sexual assault and domestic violence survivors, depression, anxiety, mental health disorders, homelessness, grief, divorce, loss of employment and incarceration. In addition, I have done extensive work with children, adolescents and couples.

- Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Development and Family Studies
- Master’s of Education in Counseling
Fun Facts
I love shopping! I am also very active in my Sorority life, participating in 3-4 activities each month. I am also involved in church and lead 2 ministries.
