My goal is to create a warm and welcoming space where clients feel safe enough to share what has brought them to seek therapy without fear of judgment. I am committed to acknowledging the intersectionality of each individual, and working to create a unique and collaborative therapeutic space where they feel their whole self is accepted. I understand starting therapy can be daunting, but I am here to provide empathy and guidance as we navigate the process together.
My Professional Background
I received a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and a B.A. in Human Developmental Sciences from University of California, San Diego where I focused much of my research on racial disparities in access to mental health services, particularly in underserved communities of color. I am passionate about removing the stigma around mental health that can often occur in minority households, and working to create access to therapy for all. During undergrad, I worked in a research lab focused on Early Learning and Cognition, to understand how we learn and process information. More recently I worked at a low-income elementary school, providing educational services and support to students with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders.

Fun Facts
Music is one of my favorite ways to destress. I am always looking for new vinyls to play on my record player, or cool new artists to listen to. I love 90’s R&B and Neo-Soul. Some of my current favorite albums include Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Usher, Ari Lenox, and Masego. I also love to go to the beach and sit by the ocean when the weather is nice, or walk around the museums in Balboa Park in my free time.
