My approach to therapy can best be describe as eclectic. While I have a strong base in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I also like to intertwine Person Centered Techniques as well as Solution Focused approaches. My goal for each of my clients is for them to be the best possible versions of themselves. While this concept sounds easy enough, there are many things each of us have that are blocking that path. My goal in therapy is to help clients Identify what that block is and how they can begin to remove it.
My Professional Background
I have experience as an intake coordinator at a PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) for children and teens. I then went to work for ECI, evaluating children 0-3 to make sure they were meeting developmental milestones and if they were not, working with them to accomplish those. When COVID began, I moved to a Telehealth platform and have really enjoyed working with clients in the teletherapy modality.
