Therapist | LCSW

Therapy is a method of self-care. An opportunity to work through a difficult or challenging time in one’s life by gaining insight, learning tools for understanding & managing one’s reactions and emotions and problem-solving in a way that doesn’t negatively affect our ability to function. My goal is to foster & cultivate an environment for that process to manifest. I seek to achieve that via the use of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Strength-Based Therapy.

My Professional Background

I have 25 years of experience working with a variety of populations, from children to older adults. I’ve been privileged to help people navigate through various life situations including conflicts in relationships, depression, anxiety, stress, grief and chronic illness.

Education, Training, and Certifications

  • Herbert H. Lehman College – Dual Major: Psychology & Sociology
  • Columbia University School of Social Work – Master of Science
  • Tobacco Treatment Specialist

Fun Facts

On my free time, I enjoy trying out new restaurants or recipes, relaxing at home with a good movie or nurturing house plants in the Winter and colorful blooms in the Spring & Summer.
