My hope is to create a nonjudgmental, emotionally supportive and authentic space for people coping with their mental health. My love for counseling is rooted in my drive to empower others: I truly believe empowerment cannot exist with accountability. By challenging, educating and supporting my clients I strive to walk beside them in their journey to create happy and healthy lives.
My Professional Background
I have years of experience working adults coping with their mental health, people or color experiencing emotional distress related to systematic oppression, and survivors of personal trauma. Through guiding my clients with gaining insight, building coping skills and processing trauma’s I have helped people regain control over their lives. As a counselor I prioritize cultural humility, empowerment and compassion, as I view them as key ingredients to growth.
