As a therapist, I think that everyone has a story. However, often times when patient enters therapy, they may feel as though they are at a turning point, unsure what the next chapter will be. As a therapist, my goal is to work with my clients to help them continue to write their story and start to live life in a way that they are happy and successful, as they define it.
My Professional Background
During my career, I have primarily worked with many adults that struggle with anxiety and depression. I have also spent a lot of time working with people on the autism spectrum disorder, substance abuse and trauma. I often utilize cognitive behavioral approaches. However, I feel that treatment should be person centered and I work with each and every patient to determine which approaches are best for the individual.
