Therapist | LCSW

I am passionate about helping people address their challenges and achieve their goals. My counseling style is warm, open, nonjudgmental and solution-focused. This just means that I am here for problem solving, no matter the problem. I strive to help my clients achieve their goals and be the person or family that they desire to be. I specialize in relationships, depression and anxiety but am always open to other treatment areas.

I believe that everyone can use help at some point or may need someone to talk too and that is why I am here. My therapeutic approach combines solution-focused, cognitive behavior and Gestalt therapies. I combine these to develop a counseling style that includes focusing on the current challenges, modifying behaviors and thoughts and providing real-life practical techniques to assist you.

My Professional Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have years of experience in psychotherapy working with adults, couples, and families. I have worked in both the inpatient psychiatric settings and community based outpatient mental health. Throughout my experiences as a clinical Social Worker, I have found so much joy and passion in helping each individual or family work through whatever challenges are presented, big or small.

I have experience in working with the homeless population, child and family services, substance affected families, veterans and more. Overall, My goal is to help you accomplish your goal.

Fun Facts

I am originally from the East Coast, North Carolina to be exact. I relocated to California in 2018 for work. In my off time, I love to spend as much time as I can with my family, friend and fiancé. Since COVID, we tend to use a lot of a FaceTime and Zoom calls to stay in touch and have even found ways to host movie nights and game nights through the use of technology. I am a lover of puppies, hot coffee and good movies!
