I hope to offer you a safe space where you are the sole focus. I believe strongly in a collaborative therapeutic relationship and am honored to be a part of your healing journey. I work with clients to help them assess their life as a whole to establish their needs, wants and wishes free of judgment or shame. I believe in the importance of helping clients develop and utilize a tool kit to manage life’s challenges. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal themselves and am honored to be a vessel for this process.
My Professional Background
I have extensive experience working with youth and their caregivers who have struggled both individually and within a family system. I began my career working with at-risk youth and children placed in foster care in both New York City and Connecticut. Through this, I witnessed the influence of childhood trauma and the impact of a persons environment. This work lead me to the past 8 years of being a clinical therapist for children and families. As a professional, I truly value the opportunity to engage with individuals and families to build effective patterns of communication and develop healthy relationships in their lives.
