My Favorite Quote

"There will be times when standing alone feels too hard, too scary, and we’ll doubt our ability to make our way through the uncertainty. Someone, somewhere, will say, ‘Don’t do it. You don’t have what it takes to survive the wilderness.’ This is when you reach deep into your wild heart and remind yourself, ‘I am the wilderness.'" - Brené Brown

Clinical Coordinator

Therapy is a place where one should feel safe enough to be vulnerable; to allow themselves the freedom to be courageous and brave. Going to therapy for the first time can be intimidating, scary even, and it is my belief that therapy providers should create a space for their clients that is warm, inviting, but most of all, a place for them to genuinely be themselves without fear of judgment or shame. That is my approach to therapy: to truly care for the person I am speaking with and to provide that individual with the tools to be resilient in their healing journey and to continue to persevere through life’s obstacles and challenges.

My Professional Background

Currently, I am enrolled in my Master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy to obtain my license as an MFT and LPCC. I am an MFT trainee, providing services through a non-profit that offers assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. I also have experience providing direct counseling services to those in recovery and struggling with addiction, as well as, providing group therapy to promote success in sobriety. I am also grateful for my experiences providing therapeutic behavioral services to foster youth. I am passionate about the mental health field and strive to be an empathetic, genuine and authentic provider for every one of my clients.

Education, Training, and Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology, University of Phoenix
  • Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy, University of Phoenix, graduation in Summer of 2023
