My approach is allowing for a safe and non-judgment space for the client to be able to express feelings and emotions. I prefer a collaborative and strength-based method to help you find the skills that will allow you to overcome any challenges. This will be a dual effort.

My Professional Background

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my B.A. from Park University at Fort Bliss, TX with a degree in Social Psychology. I continued with my education in counseling and received my Master of Counseling with an Emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from Webster University in Fort Bliss, TX. I have had the privilege of working and learning from a variety of individuals stemming from working in a psychiatric hospital both inpatient/outpatient. I have also worked in non-profit and profit organizations that work with individual and group sessions. I have learned that everyone manages their feelings and emotions in their own way. This experience has taught me to be compassionate and empathetic which allows for a safe place to find the strength to empower.
