I believe that there is no one size fits approach to therapy. To this end, I strive to create a safe space for client’s to share their concerns openly and honestly.
My Professional Background
I have over 18 years of experience working within the field of Behavioral Health. Having the ability to work in all capacities (e.g. case management, counseling, leadership roles) has afforded me the ability to be a well rounded clinician. I am culturally competent, naturally empathic individual who has worked with diverse populations including but not limited to: LGBTQIA+, individuals with Criminal Justice histories, individuals of varied race, culture, and religious backgrounds, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, etc.
Education, Training, and Certifications
- Mercy College, MS-Mental Health Counseling
- John Jay College of Criminal Justice, BA-Forensic Psychology
When I am not working, I enjoy reading a good fiction book, watching reality TV shows, spending time with my wife and son, family/friend game nights, and a good off-the grid getaway.
