Making the decision to begin therapy can be challenging as many people can feel uncertain about what to expect in sessions with their therapist. Through my person-centered approach to therapy, I work with my clients to develop a collaborative, supportive, and genuine therapeutic relationship. I am committed to fostering a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment for clients so they feel its safe to engage in self-exploration, achieve their goals for personal-growth or change, and ultimately improve their overall sense of well-being. I also use an integrative approach to therapy as I believe that treatment should be tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
I utilize elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches to therapy with my clients, while also maintaining a whole-person approach during the counseling process.
It takes courage to take the first steps toward positive change to achieve a life that will allow you to feel happier and more fulfilled as you improve your quality of life. I am here to support and empower your unique journey toward achieving your goals.
