Therapist | LCSW

My approach to therapy is collaborative. I aim to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to be open and vulnerable. I believe in transparency and allowing you to have full say in your treatment and I strive to meet you where you are.

My treatment utilizes cognitive behavior therapy and strengths based perspective, allowing you to focus on positive skills that that will assist you in achieving your goals. My hope is that you can reach an optimal sense of self which will allow you to navigate life’s stressors and live your best life.

My Professional Background

I am an LCSW, licensed in the state of New York who currently works in the healthcare system as a behavoral health social worker. I have 6+ years experience working part time in a fee for service providing psychotherapy to children and families. I have worked in a residential program for geriatric patients who suffer with developmental disabilites. I have experience working with parents in domestic violence relationships who are seeking shelter for their family. I also 7+ years experience working for Children’s Services, making home visits and assessing the safety of children while referring families to community agencies that work to help strengthen the family unit.

All of my work experiences have helped me to learn empathy for peoples struggles and made me passionate about helping others. Some of my specialties are working with individuals who suffer with depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma.
