I use an integrative approach looking at the person as a whole-not just the emotional aspect. People are complex and our problems cannot always be compartmentalized or fit into a box. The main modalities I use and find to be successful are CBT, mindful based CBT, and solution focused therapies. Whether it is a life transition or an ongoing problem, we will work through it together in a safe space with a personalized approach.
