Therapist | LPC

I believe that a strong, trusting relationship between a therapist and a client is key to making positive changes. I work to create a warm, supportive, and caring space where people feel safe to talk about their experiences and goals. My approach focuses on each person’s strengths and ability to grow. I aim to build hope and help people recognize their own potential. I guide clients through their therapy journey, beginning at their individual starting point and using proven methods tailored to their unique needs and preferences. I also look at the bigger picture of well-being, understanding that mental health is closely connected to things like sleep, nutrition, exercise, fun, and relationships. My work focuses on the present, builds on what’s already going well, and helps people create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

My Professional Background

With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic process and a strong commitment to helping individuals thrive. I have served in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles-therapist, clinical supervisor, clinical director, and adjunct professor-and have worked in diverse settings such as group homes, outpatient clinics, mental health centers, schools, and most recently, private practice. Licensed as an LPC in Colorado and an LMHC in Florida, I am committed to providing effective, compassionate care that is both present-focused and future-oriented—helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.

Fun Facts

I’m a wife and mother of three young adults. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and have just become empty nesters. We share our home with two golden retrievers. After living in Colorado most of my life, my family and I recently relocated to Florida. I enjoy reading, traveling, dining out, spending time with loved ones, and being near the water.
