I would describe my approach as warm, compassionate, empathetic, and client-centered. While my preferred approach is Cognitive-Behavior therapy, I understand that not all approaches are universal, and am flexible in my approach. Meaning, I will adjust my approach and interventions based on your preference and/or progress in therapy. Because we all encounter issues on this journey called life, I am devoted to providing a warm and nonjudgmental atmosphere where, together, you and I can identify and meet your therapeutic goals.
My Professional Background
I have over 7 years of experience in counseling. I have worked in residential and outpatient settings, as well as in private practice settings. While my passion is helping those who have experienced trauma and crises, I also have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the following areas: anger management, impulse control, family conflict, depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, problem-solving, and adjustment issues.
