Therapist | LCSW

Therapy can be scary. You may feel alone, isolated, or not heard. Anxiety and depression can make you feel that there is no hope. Life changes planned or not can be difficult to navigate. Sometimes, we all need an extra support and ally on our side. A person who can listen without judgement. A person who can empathize with the uniqueness of each individual. As a mental health therapist, I like to take my time to get to know each client. To understand the uniqueness of their concerns, struggles, and experiences. Our goal in therapy is to help you identify your strengths and confidence in order to break through your unique challenges and struggles in your life. Our goal is to develop positive coping skills. I want my clients to feel validated without judgement.

My Professional Background

Working as a Medical Social Worker I have been fortunate to work with a variety of clients. I have experience working with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and those struggling with life changes. I have experience working with families and groups struggling with conflicts, problem solving skills, boundaries, and effective communication. Additionally, I have always had a passion for working with adolescents. Adolescence is difficult time and with my experience, I have had the skills to make connections with young adults. Every client is unique with an individual story and requires different approaches.
