I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and genuine human connection. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop insight, and create meaningful, lasting change. I recognize that every individual has a unique story, so I tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs, strengths, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic principles, and trauma-informed care, I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, empowering clients to build resilience, improve relationships, and move beyond survival mode toward a more fulfilling life.
My Professional Background
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida with experience providing individual therapy, clinical assessments, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and clinical supervision. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health, correctional mental health, and private practice, serving adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. My background also includes leadership and administrative roles, allowing me to combine strong clinical skills with effective program development, supervision, and organizational management. In private practice, I primarily work with women navigating trauma, unhealthy relationship patterns, chronic stress, and personal growth while also providing clinical supervision and NCMHCE tutoring for aspiring mental health professionals.

Fun Facts
When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, staying active, and continuing to learn both personally and professionally. I love reading, listening to podcasts, and exploring topics related to psychology, personal growth, and leadership. I’m also passionate about creating educational resources, mentoring future counselors, and finding new ways to make mental health information more accessible to others. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet evening with a good book, traveling, or simply sharing laughs with the people I love, I believe in practicing the same balance, self-care, and lifelong growth that I encourage in my clients.
