Therapy is for everyone! I think a lot of people have this really skewed view of therapy, in which you only go to therapy if something “happened” or if they are “mentally ill”. Therapy can be a safe place to speak about anything including family issues, work conflicts, and friendship/relationship challenges. Additionally, a therapist can help you find a new career, identify what you would want out relationships and utilize your strengths to help you reach your goals.
I prefer if therapy sessions were more conversational where the client and I can openly discuss concerns and potential solutions. I would prefer if the client leads the session and I help guide it, I do not have an agenda when beginning any session. I believe utilizing medias such as books, movies, television shows are a great way to help a client identify the situations they are going through. I am always willing to help the client with “homework” if that is what works best for them.
My Professional Background
I have worked primarily with adults living with developmental disabilities and diagnosed mental illnesses. I love the opportunity to work with adults living experiencing challenges and utilizing their already developed strengths to find solutions to their concerns/problems . I provide a nonjudgmental, safe space for people to speak openly about their concerns and will always offer honest feedback in return.

I love coffee, salty snacks, and being a dog mom to my beagle mix Dixie. I enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants. My favorite foods include tacos, buffalo chicken, and coconut shrimp. My other hobbies include reading (favorite author Tana French), cooking/baking, shopping, and exercising at a local spin studio. I aim to shop as local and independently as possible.
