Therapist | LCSW

My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, relational, person-centered and holistic. I meet you where you are right now and respect the unique path you have walked. I utilize an integrative approach which honors your whole individual self (mind, body, inner truth) and life experiences. I view myself as someone who is supporting you in recognizing your already existing resiliency, strengths and capacities. I believe in you, and that building an authentic and compassionate relationship to yourself is key in making positive changes in your life. My goal is to assist you in navigating life’s challenges with an increased sense of self-acceptance, self-love, and confidence. I work collaboratively with you to explore any patterns, beliefs and past experiences which may be holding you back from living the life that you deserve. I am grateful to get to know you and support you on your journey.

I utilize therapeutic tools which most align with each individual’s unique concerns. These include evidence-based skills rooted in CBT and DBT. I also incorporate holistic methods (Mindfulness, EFT tapping, grounding work, hypnotherapy, inner child healing). I encourage the use of expressive and creative arts where appropriate, such as journaling and art, to build self-awareness and inner connection.

My Professional Background

I have 10 years of experience working with children, teens and families. I worked as a preschool teacher prior to earning my Masters in Clinical Social Work in 2016. Since that time, I have worked in a variety of settings helping to uplift and advocate for individuals and families. I have worked as a social worker in child welfare, as a community-based therapist, and as a clinician in a partial hospitalization program for children and teens with severe anxiety and depression. In the last year I have worked in private practice with children, teens and adults who struggle with issues such as anxiety, social anxiety, panic, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges.
