My Approach

My approach with my clients is empathetic and supportive. I believe the most important aspect in the therapeutic process is developing a strong rapport. I cannot expect my clients to share with me their biggest challenges if there is not a therapeutic relationship based on trust, and this begins with utilizing open communication and understanding in getting to know my clients.

I want to create a space that is safe and free of judgment. You are the expert on you, and your life. I want to work collaboratively with you on your journey of growth and healing.

My Professional Background

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child Studies and Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I have over eight years experience in the mental health field working in residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient settings.

I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, trauma, Eating Disorders, and the LGBTQ plus population. I am extensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities. I also utilize different interventions from other modalities because it is about what will work best for each individual client, not a one size fits all.
