I offer a variety of treatment approaches to help each individual learn how to regulate your emotions to maintain a stable life. Therapy is meant to help one gain a purposeful & balanced life to overcome barriers in the way of their success. The approach used is based on the client reporting symptoms. The therapeutic approaches I use are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), reality therapy, strength-based, Gestalt therapy (also known as the, empty chair technique), and integrative.
My professional experience has been spent in various settings working with adolescents, individuals, families, and couples. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient clinics, residential programs, prison settings, in patient crisis stabilization units, and the school system by providing resources, guiding through counsel and assisting them in achieving mental stability. I am passionate about the need to help others see the potential in their everyday obstacles.
I am a wife and mother of three. My spare time consist of self-care, spending time with family, traveling, and trying new food cuisines.
