I am dedicated to providing a tailored approach for each individual. The techniques that I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, mindfulness & trauma informed care. My approach is straightforward, non-judgmental, honest and focused on the individual's needs, hopes and the goal of building resilience.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in psychotherapy for trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, addiction/recovery, and anxiety. I have the unique experience of working in a substance use clinic, inpatient psychiatric unit and in private practice during my career. I am quite well rounded in my experiences and have been able to make a positive impact in peoples lives.
I have been learning how to sew my own clothes. I am finding it to be an excellent way to practice mindfulness. I also love to bake, cook, garden and just relax with my pets and family.
